For more than 40 years, Dismas Charities has proven to be a valued citizen and community partner to businesses and residents in the neighborhoods where our facilities are located. Our presence has contributed over $191 million to the communities we serve and our clients have contributed over four million hours of community service.

Dismas Charities requires its properties be clean and orderly and to respect the community's integrity. To involve and inform communities, each facility hosts a Community Advisory Board composed of citizens and community advocates. Every facility is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by professionally trained employees. In these and all ways, Dismas commits to being a full partner in community safety and presence. Our experience with this approach is that Dismas' presence has a positive effect in strengthening the safety and economic well-being of the community.
